Attorney Ernest H. Hyde
Attorney Hyde's experience includes 29 years of technical engineering and senior management in the computer industry in sales, marketing, contracts and software engineering. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University and a Juris Doctor degree from Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. Attorney Hyde was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in June, 1992 and opened his practice in August, 1992. While attending law school, attorney Hyde was a member of the school's Law Review.
Many years of close personal and professional relationships in the business environment provides attorney Hyde with a solid foundation of interpersonal skills which is so often lacking in the legal community. His main concern is serving his clients in a professional, effective and cost efficient manner with his sights always set on client satisfaction. His practice is dedicated to serving people in the community and small businesses. His objective is to most efficiently educate his client's in the legal process in which they are involved in order for the client to more effectively assist in his or her legal needs.
During his many years of practice, attorney Hyde has represented hundreds of clients in district and superior courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and has argued before both the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Appeals Court. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate, Collections, Small Business and Corporate Law and Litigation. He has taught classes in Family Law, Criminal Law and Business Law at several colleges and universities.
Attorney Hyde was president of the Northern Middlesex Bar Association for the 2001 - 2003 period. He served as vice president from 1997 - 1999. He produces a monthly Community Cable Access television program for the bar association on legal topics of interest to the general community called Legal Ease. He also frequently hosts the show which is shown on local cable access channels in more than 10 communities.
Attorney Francine Traiger Poor
 Attorney Traiger Poor's experience, prior to being admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, includes 16 years in sales, most of which, was as a broker of integrated circuits and semiconductors. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, Cum Laude, from Johnson and Wales University and a Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude, from Massachusetts School of Law in Andover. Attorney Traiger Poor joined our firm upon being admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in June, 2004. While attending law school, Attorney Traiger Poor was the Research Desk Manager for the school's library and information resource center.
Attorney Traiger Poor's extensive sales experience provides her with a background in negotiation and mediation that often helps to bring contentious cases to an amicable resolution. Although a zealous advocate for her clients, she recognizes that every family is different and every problem requires a workable resolution. If no amicable resolution is possible, she is supremely qualified to advocate for your rights.
Her degree in Business Management and business experience provides a "real world" understanding of the needs of small businesses, whether it be initial organization, debt collection or contract issues. She provides guidance in many areas of business aimed at proactive avoidance of unpleasant and costly issues as well a civil litigation, if necessary.
Attorney Traiger Poor concentrates her practice in all areas of domestic relations law, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child visitation, child support, spousal support, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, domestic violence issues and enforcement and modifications of family law orders. Additionally, she focuses on debt collection, landlord/tenant cases, and civil litigation.
Dawn M. Hyde
Dawn Hyde, as our Paralegal and Office Manager, has over 18 years of office management and nearly five years of paralegal experience. Dawn has been with our firm since 1995. She holds a Paralegal Certificate from Mount Wachusett Community College, is a member of the Massachusetts Paralegal Association and a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Dawn focuses her efforts on assisting attorneys Hyde and Traiger Poor in all practice areas and works extensively with estate probate and real estate clients. She possesses a substantial understanding of the inner workings of the Department of Revenue, Child Support Enforcement Division, which can result in rapid resolution of collection actions. Dawn is also responsible for all aspects of the firm’s office operation and billing, and court time scheduling.
